You don’t get any more “Detroit” than Robert Dempster. When you grow up in Old Redford as the oldest of 9, attend Cass Tech High School, head up the very first band to perform at the iconic Grande Ball Room, design the logo to the original Detroit jazz radio station WJZZ, and build a design company that does business with some of the biggest names in the city - you just don’t get any more “Detroit” than that. And this would explain how the businessman, artist and musician built the successful podcast called The Positive Patriot. Support from both listeners and sponsors of The Positive Patriot has been so overwhelming, he has been recruited by Salem Media to host this show on terrestrial radio station WDTK 101.5 FM and 1400 AM every Saturday at noon beginning July 18. The program can also be streamed live at www.thepositivepatriot.com or on demand at www.detroittalkradio.com.
The Positive Patriot will feature interviews with well-known community leaders, businesspeople, charities, artists and celebrities - and will discuss what’s happening in our town and around the world today – all in a very unique and positive manner. Listeners will be encouraged to call in to share their positive take on the topics of the day.
The Patriot WDTK bills itself as a radio station serving the Detroit-area market with “Intelligent Talk” that is making a difference. Dempster joins personalities Sean Hannity, Hugh Hewitt, Mike Gallagher, Larry Elder and fellow Detroiter, John McCulloch on the Salem network.
Tune in July 18 at noon and, in the meantime, follow THE POSITIVE PATRIOT on FACEBOOK.
